MIXED ABILITY YOGA CLASSES are for all bodies that are active/used to movement, whether new to yoga or experienced. These classes combine Ujjayi breath work with flowing and static postures. A deep practice, inspired by Ashtanga Yoga, but incorporating a creative variation on the primary series. Often a playful practice, but maintains a strong intensity & focus.

These classes include Breath work (Pranayama), Kriyas, both still & flowing Posture practice (Asana) and Relaxation or Meditation.

WELL-WOMAN YOGA CLASSES are designed to support women peri-menopausal, menopausal and post-menopausal. However, I have numerous women that attend this class who find the classes deeply nurturing, strengthening and powerful in assisting their daily lives, that aren’t menopausal, so the sessions don’t exclude anybody. The classes involve breathing practices to release tension, anxiety and anger; some practices can also aid sleeping difficulties; joint release practices are taught connected to the breath to enhance a meditative practice, whilst relieving aches, heaviness and pain in common area’s such as wrists, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles.

Both static and flowing postures are guided to support balance, focus, inner strength and also to uplift, rejuvenate & tone.  Pelvic floor practices are guided, using both floor and wall, to tone and gain greater awareness of how best to engage & support. Classes end with a guided relaxation to help release, relax and restore. No experience is necessary for these sessions.
